PS Njogu's Visit to Canada

Last week, Diaspora Affairs PS, Roseline K Njogu was on an official visit to Canada. #ThePSDiary

The Principal Secretary paid a courtesy call to the Kenya's Mission in Canada and met the Embassy staff.

She later held talks with Canada's Assistant Minister for Sub-Saharan Africa at Global Affairs, Ms Cheryl Urban.

The PS also met and engaged Nova Scotia Government officials on matters of mutual interest.

At the same time, PS Njogu held talks with Mr. Dan Mills, the New Brunswick Deputy Minister of Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour.

The PS called on Kenya's Honorary Consulate in Toronto, Mr. Sunir Chandaria at the Kenya's Honorary Consulate.

The PS also had the privilege of meeting and engaging with Kenyans living, working and studying in 3 provinces of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Ontario in Canada where they held fruitful discussions on investments, opportunities, their rights and welfare.

The State Department led by PS Roseline K Njogu seeks to put Kenya's #DiasporaFirst by continually engaging them in dialogues, champion the protection of their rights and welfare, harness more opportunities for networking and enterprise development as well streamlining them into Kenya's development agenda in line with the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda(BETA).
